Good luck with your holiday plans.
My son's coming for a visit next week, then we're heading off to Port Lincoln for a little R & R. Let's hope the weather improves, it's been cold, wet and windy here for the last few days. Spring has disappeared completely.

The weather is steadily getting colder here, it being autumn, but it always surprises me. Summer is a long period of fairly steady minor ups and downs around a warm level, and then in september it just sinks and sinks -- I know it will happen, but I am always off guard and hoping the freedom of summer will last a bit longer.

How cold is cold? We had over a week of around about 15°C, with an extra wind chill factor, which is cold for October. At the moment we're up to 27°C, which is a little warmer than average, I'd say. But much nicer!
(My son is heading to Birmingham for Christmas ... what sort of weather should he expect?)
