I had a really good birthday. Good drinks, good people, good dancing, good fun. I was really wasted by the time the bars closed and ended up passing out not too long after - tried to fight it to go to the after party, but no dice. Last night was fun, too. All in all a good weekend

Oh, man. I'm so glad Maya is ok. I've had the same wishy-washiness about pit bulls--thinking maybe I'm judging unfairly based on a few cases--but *every* incident makes me less hesitant to judge.

I'm glad your fighter instincts kicked in. Things could have been a lot worse.
