I'm intrigued. I don't usually read fics that contain a self-harm element, as, well, I am pretty much everything you've given Merlin (minus the anorexia), but there is something about it that's pulled me in... Looking forward to where you're taking this. :)

Thanks. I have an idea of where I'll take it (ish) but mostly I'm as intrigued as anyone about how the story will develop!!

I know what you mean about not reading stuff too close to you. I used to be the same until I realised I could use fics to express myself. I've basically given Merlin just about every issue I've had.

It's really great how you've managed to channel it into something productive, I'm just about to try to do something similar. Don't think I'll be able to write it quite as well as you. :)

Putting it into something productive is awesome. Art works well as well but writing's the best. Cos you can watch the characters work through it and get better and be like hey, that could be me too.
