I almost didn't notice the canon stuff until I got to the end. I was focused more on the unique angle this story comes from. I love the Spock and Kirk mind meld connection, along with the musings of Spock. They really add depth to the story.

Fantastic fic! I loved how you managed to incorporate all the canon into it! I really enjoyed the way you presented the relationship between Kirk and McCoy because I feel like it's a little more realistic that they have to be careful even if people know about it...

The whole plot and being able to see how an outsider like Spock viewed their relationship was awesome!
