okay, so i've been shamelessly neglecting livejournal. instead, i've been screwing around and lurking on facebook. it's insanity at how many people i've added as friends in such a short time that i haven't spoken to in well over 2 years. all the humbercrest ppl that i have barely even thought of in all that time

My brother just got onto Facebook last week. I refuse to go anywhere near that stuff (facebook, myspace, friendster, etc). The only one I might consider is draugiem.lv, which technically I am on but have never been to (excet the one time I registered). That stuff is too addicting, and I'm already pathetically addicted to this livejournal thing. I can't take more than one online addiction at a time (used to be AIM in undergrad). Also, the whole purpose of those things is to stalk people and open yourself up for stalking. My brother doesn't know what I'm talking about, but it's totally true.

well i'm glad i switched over to facebook. it seems a little bit more mature and sophisticated than myspace where any weirdo can get a page. however, you are right. this kind of thing does open you up for stalking. and yes, it's addicting. i gave up on draugiem, didn't care enough about the ppl on there. myspace makes it easier for me to keep up w/ people who are going to school in other cities.
