Tshamba, the police officer who emptied his service weapon into an unarmed man during a drunken argument, was sentenced to 15 years in jail. Under Maryland ludicrous system of diminution credits, that means he'll be out of jail in about 7 years.

Did you ever see "Dragnet" (the movie)? We all laughed at the ending where quote "The Reverend Jonathan Whirley was convicted of 26 counts of atempted murder 15 counts of ... He will be eligible for parole in 7 years. ..."

I guess we should not laugh, except it's because it's so damned true.
