Where the fuck does one find an “expert” on kink who declares that Nazi roleplay is “not unusual” but SWITCHING is all freaky?

Obviously, someone has not been on teh interwebz long enough. Specificly, they haven't hung out with the young, naive yaoi writers who have epic flame wars over who tops and bottoms. Naru/Sasu! Sasu/Naru! XD

Seriously, though? If they were doing actual Dom/Sub with a Nazi twist, then it would be odd for someone playing the "dom" role to switch to a sub. That type of thing does tend to be pretty formulaic, as far as I know. That's kind of the whole point.

I don't know enough about it to say. But it doesn't seem like switching would be less likely in the Nazi scenario than in any other dom/sub scenario. Their so-called expert did get one thing right- it's primarily about power, not about Nazis. And there are people out there who are switch...dom v. sub is no more black and white than straight v. gay, from what I know.

And for what this is worth, at least one of the Feministe posters mentioned that all of the handful of nazi fetishists s/he knows are switch.

What I'm wondering is if they switch durring a scene or between scenes. Switching between scenes, ie, taking turns as to who plays Nazi or whatnot, I could see. I'd find it a bit odd (and interesting) if it'd get flipped in scene, though. Maybe it's a prison break for the Jews and they strike back at their abusers? *amused*
