Oh, this is brilliant. You know, it took me quite awhile to warm up to season 5, and it's largely fanfic like this that's doing it.

Thank you! I have trouble with Amy sometimes. I think she's at her best when Rory is there to mellow her.

Thanks! I am mostly incapable of writing a fic without humor, because life is funny. Sex is particularly funny.

This is gorgeous! I love the depth of Rory's characterisation in particular.

If the truth be told, I love Rory very much, and I hope they will explore the depths of his character more in Series 6.

Second that hope. I also love Rory very much. I'm insanely happy he's become an official name-before-the-credits companion now.

This is *amazing.* The characterization is brilliant, the tone is just right, and the DETAIL...

It's no wonder Amy was the life and soul of the Leadworth theatre group. Rory remembers sitting beside Amy's parents in the village hall, the three of them grinning like loons as a 15-year-old Amy took her third curtain call as Juliet. He also remembers trying to comfort a 15-year-old Amy as she wept in frustration because Aunt Sharon wouldn't allow her to join the theatre group.

So fantastic. Mem'ing this-- I know I'll want to reread.
