Nicely worded. And yeah, that about covers it. Unlike the apparent majority of (at least the vocal) people, I enjoyed the Christmas special for what it was, and didn't try to make it into something it's not. But I did notice that big, unexplored, and very creepy thread running through it.

Yeah, the bopping back and forth in time was amusing, but I found the implications unsettling. Especially since the adult Kazran was aware of what was happening, and could feel his memories changing.

*shudder* Creepy. Although I kind of like the dark twist they're taking on the Doctor. (It makes me think of the direction Big Finish is going with Seven.)

I find the Doctor's actions in this creepy, but I'm not sure that the PTB intended them to read as such. It's meant to be a parallel to the heartwarming Dickens story.
