She clocked me a GOOD one when she came home this morning. Thank goodness the mothering 'hold my baby tight' instinct is stronger than the 'ow something hurt me, get it away!' instinct, yeah?
What's cracking me up? I didn't take a single T-3 after freakin' CHILDBIRTH, and I'm taking these things like they're Pez after dental extraction. SIGH.
I don't envy you in the slightest. I had all four taken out when I was 17. All my friends talked about getting knocked out and not feeling a thing. Me? No, I got nitrus oxide and local anaesthetic. Which meant half-way through I had to stop because I started feeling nauseus, and also, had to piss like a racehorse. Plus, yeah, stumbling around like I'm drunk without the alcohol buzz? Not so cool. Also not so cool? Hearing my teeth crack. Doesn't matter if I couldn't feel pain. That's a sound I don't ever want to hear, ever.
What is T-3? I got percocet and ibuprofen. And I had to hold a paper towel to my mouth until the anaesthetic wore off, because I was drooling uncontrollably.
But, yeah, doing that and having two little aliens around? That can't be fun, even if your lovely mother has kindly taken them in for the time being. :P Hope they don't smack you up too much, anyhow.
T-3 is Tylenol 3s. Tylenol (paracetamol, possibly?) and codeine. I was sedated by IV, but I woke up partway through, when they were on my last tooth, and I was in and out from that point on.
I've gotten clocked by the babies a few times. I'm just so used to holding them up really high, right against my face, so it's really my own fault. UGH.

T3 are indeed good. I have several leftover from the glowworm's birth. I'm more stingy with those SOBs than I am with my money.
Kids seem to have a knack of hitting you whereever you hurt, yes ma'am.
*hugs some more*

Walk on, walk on, with hope in your hearts and you'll never walk alone. You'll never walk alone...
