iPod question

Ryan has an iPod mini. His friend, Matt, has an iPod nano. Matt is trying to download music from Ryan's iTunes onto his iPod. There are 432 songs on the playlist; only 86 of them will load onto Matt's iPod. We keep getting an error message that reads: Attempting to copy to the disk "Mattt's" failed. Could Matt's Nano be filled up already? The Nano only has a couple GB of space. How many songs were already on Matt's Nano before you tried to copy Ryan's songs?

That's what I kept thinking, that Matt's Nano was already filled. But according to the bar at the bottom of the iTunes screen, Matt had plenty of room on his Nano for Ryan's songs. It kept stopping, though, after loading 86 songs; they were going for 432.

They haven't tried it again since the other night. Next time Matt comes over, we'll try it again and see what happens.

It could be because they were from itunes(as in purchased from itunes) that can couse a problem sometimes

Come to think of it, most of Ryan's music is purchased from iTunes. Why would that cause a problem?
