Great fic Linda, i found you through DeanCastiel after reading heart of stone, which i loved as well by the way, and have been reading my way through your LJ. I really loved your twist at the end, i thought it was dean the entire time, it felt like him, but then it was poor Cas, clinging to the last thing he had. You got me, i just felt this little burst of sadness throughout. One question though, what is in that box?! I kept wondering, and you didn't say, but i guess that's part of the mystery. Oh, one last thing, i read about how you where upset about not being let into the ficathon/exchange, whatever it is on the Deancas comm, well why don't you write yours anyway and maybe create some prompts and have your friends write one to? Not as a F-u to them, but just cuz, i'm sure that's allowed and you write such great dean cas fic...well neway yah. Keep writing, i will be lurking :)

Thank you for letting me know that you are reading my stuff. I have been trying to finish up a couple of stories but I've had writer's block really bad.

When I first wrote this story I wanted it to be Cas in his current body but wearing Dean's clothes and using Dean's mannerisms. Some people have gotten he idea that Cas just took Dean's body after died. I was sort of iffy on that one. But the box was supposed to Dean's ashes after Cas burned his body.

Ahhh i didn't think that would be in the box! :( Makes sense though i guess. I think i can see where they got that idea, when reading you just think it's Dean, and considering all that Cas knows about being human he learned from Dean he would copy his rolemodel. Keep writing! You are doing great. I use to take a notebook with me everywhere i went and write whenever i could, i stopped doing that and now it's hard to get back to it, which i totally regret 'cuz i always get fic ideas i wanna try and post but i can't get myself to do it anymore. Don't lose that muse, it's a great way to help unwind, relax and be yourself.
