Northstar's wedding has me worried

This will only make sense to those of you who read comics and know who the X-Men and Northstar are. So to clarify a bit, Northstar is an openly gay superhero who used to be a member of Alpha Flight and is now a member of the X-Men. He is getting married to his boyfriend Kyle in the next issue of whichever X-Men comic they are in, a first in comics

See, this is how I feel about all relationships in all series in all media ever. Once TPTB get a couple together, unless it's a finale for that storyline, they can't think of one thing a married couple could do that would be more interesting to the audience than getting into stupid OOC fights over contrived shit, cheating, or dying. It's especially true for the very few canon queer relationships because you're like "Yaaaaaay now they're togeth--oh God, now what, a straight ray that makes one of them a girl and the other one pregnant?"
