Every time I hear from a random high school classmate (i.e., one I've never heard from after graduating for years up until that point) through my journal, a profile, or whatever, I'm genuinely surprised that they liked me enough to bother to contact me

So why is it that you were so likable in school and I wasn't? For me, I'm usually the one who initiates the contact/reconnection. I don't think there's anyone from my high school who gives two shits about my LiveJournal or my MySpace profile.
