So, two weeks ago, before a big interview, my windows install gave up the ghost. It would reach the logon screen then just hang indefinitely. Testing my hard drive on Chloe's identical (aside from ram) laptop, and the install still suffered this fault. A week and four reinstalls, a new hard drive, and a return to my original ram later, and windows

I haven't tried this yet; I think I'm still using Ubuntu's Flash packages which probably do something horrible involving nspluginwrapper.
