That's it. I'm done with smoking. I'm going to the store and will buy all healthy foods... Right after I get ahold of the doctor to get a referral to a cardiologist. Brush kitty more to turn off (effective) kitty alarm clock. 3:25 AM: gift of hairball was delivered right next to my pillow.

It *WAS* the pillow. The chiro had me all sorted out. I had decided that the person who insisted that all this pain couldn't be from using a particular pillow must have been right and I attributed the cause to something else. Friday, the side of my face swelled up and hurt - for no apparent reason. Since we were to head for NYC that afternoon, I went to the clinic to see a doctor. He found a severely swollen gland in my neck and figured it was either mono or strep. They took a swab, then drew blood before the results showed I had strep. For a week... took my last final of this semester today and the summer session starts next Tuesday. While I was taking my 8 AM Methods final, I saw a school of little fish in a stream.
