After changing my journal layout from a dull black to a screenful of desserts, I still feel like something is missing within me. :(

Encounter. Ouran Host Club// Piyo-chan and Usa-chan

Pink.

Looks sort of soft.

A small tea stain on its cheek.

Piyo-chan flaps its little wings, fluffing its feathers before settling by the bars of its cage, watching the little creature with a careful eye.

It's cute, the little bird thinks... but it knows better, the pink creature's matrial arts skills surpasses any inanimate object. Piyo-chan chirps, hopping about in its cage. How can it get away from that pink thing?

Flop.

Piyo-chan perks up in surprise and if birds can hiss, then Piyo-chan's rustling of feathers is equivalent.

"Takashi! Takashi! Piyo-chan and Usa-chan are getting along so well!"

Piyo-chan breathes a sigh of relief when its master's cousin picks up the demonic little thing, narrowing its eyes.

"Uhn."

Over the blond's shoulder, Usa-chan's eyes seem to gleam with something dark...

Cards. Prince of Tennis// Yagyuu Hiroshi and Niou Masaharu

Yagyuu have always hated playing cards with Niou, knowing the white haired boy can have some rather dirty tricks up his sleeves. But that never stops him from playing with Niou, always enjoying a good game resulting with Niou's jaw dropping in disbelief when Yagyuu lays down his final cards.

Niou knows, too... just how much of a cheater Yagyuu also is.

They are not the Gentleman and the Trickster for nothing.

It is all just a facade, the whole title thing between the two. No one else knows just how they are behind closed doors... just how Niou Masaharu seem to be the one to tame Yagyuu Hiroshi in a merciless game of cards.

They dance around each other, eyes blank and poker face in place.

They don't know who will win the next round, but Yagyuu licks his lips, tracing the surface of the cards in a passionate manner.

It no longer matters who is the Gentleman and who is the Trickster.

Because in the end, Yagyuu is Niou and Niou is Yagyuu.

They are each other and themselves.

The next card says it all.
