Big budget hollywood remake of The Host coming soon. As if such a thing were needed. Still apparently some people just flat out refuse to watch movies with subtitles

Subtitles require a lot more effort on the part of the audience and can be really challenging for slow readers or people with low reading comprehension. Beyond that, subtitles can remind the audience that they are external to the story. Remakes aren't needed, but they can still be entertainment.
