Yesterday on Trading Spaces, there was a couple who said that having a kid "saved us from a life of self-absorption".

The horror! What a lackluster life it must be to live by your own will instead of some snot-faced kid's!

Ugh. Parents who act like not having kids would ruin anyone's life aggravate me.
