I probably had a better day than you did today.

I exercised, had lunch with two beautiful women, played outside with the dogs, took some pictures, and reflected on how amazing life is.
Am I beginning to sound like the 'after' person in a Prozac commercial?

No one is denying you the right to be happy. And its true, a lot of people go around, preaching pessimisim, selling fear and that's just dumb.

but why start off a post with the line "I probably had a better day than you did today."? is it possible to have a great day, and also hope that everyone else around you ALSO had a great day? must life always be defined by "better" and "worse"? must someone always be lesser for you to be better?

I started off with the line, "I probably had a better day than you did today" because I probably had a better day than most did that day. Simple as that.

Although I do wish for everyone to have a great day, here is where reality kicks in, I probably had a better day than most did that day.

Yes/Unfortunately, life must be defined by better and worst, for if we all had it the same way we would all be 1950's style communists or living in Disney's Fantasyland.

Granted, no one is denying me my right to be happy... Well, that is until, of course, someone does deny me my right to be happy.

And I am not saying that I am better than anyone just because I am having a better day - like you assume -I am just saying that I probably had a better day than you did today!

Have a good day!
