My Rexxar costume still has a long way to go, including faux fur cuffs, boot cuffs, and cloak, the Batman-esque cowl (though I'll be using Catwoman's for this one), his spiked pauldron (probably the hardest part next to the cowl) and the emblems on his knees and belt.

However, here's what I've got so far. )

aaaaaa you look so cuuute~

I think it's the kandie that's kind of throwing off the "AAARGH I'M AN ORC IMUNNA SMASH YOOOOOOO" vibe. but it's looking good otherwise.

Shoulder and face mask are going to be the best parts.

and if you want the glow-y eye effect, I've seen people stretch yellow legging material, stretched taut over a plastic lens, and framed behind the mask material.

Yeah, I'm planning to get some "they can't see in, but you can see out" fabric in white and placing it between the cloth of the mask and the mask base. Because I wear glasses (and can't get contacts), I bought a Catwoman mask (without stitches) as a base because it has "ears" and large eye holes. Then I'm going to pad it with cloth on top for the ear flaps and the white eyes: my glasses won't be visible, but at the same time they won't be pressed up against my face or sticking goofily out of the fabric.

I have glasses too, and I can't even wear masks, because I have to either go blind, or have them fog up inside my mask. D:
