meditation, especially the kind of meditation that feels like playing around and follow the guidance of some goddess energy that I don't even know if I'm making up, better be doing me some good in some way or it's just sort of energy masturbation!
I feel the implication here is that energy masturbation is not worthwhile in and of itself? but why not?
Fuck yes! That's pretty much exactly what goddess is teaching me to do and I didn't learn it from anybody!
I love this feeling! being in sync and finding confirmations of what you have already learned!
That's a term I used to describe it a while ago and it kind of just stuck though it's probably not the best (or most sex positive) description. And of course if something feels good and ultimately ends up having a good or at least neutral effect on the system then any kind of masturbation is totally worthwhile.
For me it's like, I'm healing and clearing and feeling deeper stuff and I think I'm *getting* somewhere at last and, I'm feeling all sorts of stuff I've never felt before, but in the end it turns out I haven't really healed anything, just kind of moved it around, and the net effect is a sort of hangover, with my energy being like okay what did you just do to me and why, and I feel drained and ugh after it all. That's what's frustrating.
