Ok- was really enjoying this- and then Zack came along and totally made my heart clench up and explode. I love, love, love this so far...
I absolutely and completely adore how you went into Zack there- he doesn't get nearly as much love as he should, and when he does get acknowledged, it's never anything as in depth as this. I love, love, love that you gave him character and whatnot.

A times b plus c equals a times b plus a times c

In the instance of a = 2, b = 4, and c = 6 it does not.

a*b+c; 2*4+6 = 14
a*b+a*c; 2*4+2*6 = 20

The only two instances I can come up with were-in this is true is 0 and 1.

Ohh, math nerdery ♥

In this instance, Spencer is referring to a(b+c) = ab + ac, as (again) mentioned in this comic (hover over it and read the tag). I recognize that the language in this particular story is somewhat unclear.

That being said, I do appreciate your fastidiousness and will respond in kind by pointing out that I believe you mean wherein and not were-in.

Thanks for the comment!

Yes in that context it would in fact be logical. I was trying to figure out what exactly was meant by that sentence, because it sounded right, but looked wrong.

I did in fact mean werein, however when I (originally) typed it in the spellcheck feature told me it was wrong. My reliance on technology, let me show you it.

Yeah, I always knew it was going to be confusing, but I figured most people would skip to the gist of the joke: Spencer thinks math is cooler than the arts.

It's probably because you're missing the crucial "h" :) Stupid English language.

I totally want Gabe to be my PE teacher now. He sounds fun!
"Gushing, Siska, I said gushing, that's not even spurting, grab a bandage from first-aid and get back in there!"
That made me laugh so hard. I could just see Gabe saying that to Sisky!
