This was magnificent. As a (probably) future English teacher, I really, really loved this. Pretty much I want William Beckett to be my secretary, and if Gabe had been my gym teacher, high school PE would have been so much better.
I'm just so proud of you for this. For how hard you worked on making it real and all the relationships and how each one could hold up on its own but they're just so much better together. You've really created a world here and I'm pretty sure I could live in it forever.
I love this! The universe you've created here is great. It was nearly identical to my Catholic high school experience. (Only we didn't have any hot young teachers who everyone suspected were sleeping together. Alas.)
Also there was a scentence in second part that just kind of cut of part way through, "God, you're weird," Spencer tells him. He doesn't bother showering before he drifts off to sleep. Today has broken his
Gah. Times like this I wish I could leave more eloquent feedback, because, truly, I just loved this. It was all so well thought out, and told in just the right way. I found the characters to be believable, and the descriptions of High School really rang true as well. I get the feeling I'll come back to re-read this a lot. :)
