Brendon's on his back now, spread below Pete, open and breaking, a little, cracks in the exterior. His lips move slowly, Our Father, who art in Heaven, hallowed be Thy name, and that's when Pete slaps him across his cheek, hard, "No."
eep.

Something sweet and dark flickers in Brendon's eyes at this, deeper and frightening, almost.
I like this line, lots.

Pete is just... insanely evil in this. It makes me shiver a little, how he can just break Brendon. I'm not really sure what else, but this was really good.

Firstly, I love that the conversion happens in the back of a van. That's so Pete, really. He's classy in every way.

"Brent?" Joe asks shrewdly. Ryan pauses.

"I think," he says, terse. "We'll see."

It's like fate! Fate ruled by Pete! Obviously we know how this turns out. Jon makes for a much better soulmate to those three tiny weirdos.

Brendon is something amazing when he's all needy and grabby, and yeah, I should probably feel creepy for saying that but I'm over it. You already know my feelings on the subject, so. No shame!!

I still have to read the rest of the cultverse [my summer begins tomorrow at noon!!] but this is a good intro for me, I think.

ooh, um... yeah... werid...

not gonna lie to you, there, this is insanely wierd but absolutely beautifully written, no doubt. you definately got talent. as weird as it is, i love to read fics where, at the end, i cant decide if i like it or if i dont. it makes me think, makes me consider....

im definately intrigued to read more cult stuff. so yeah.. post more!

Oh. So... that was pretty fucking amazing. GEEZE. Way to break my brain!

This:"A baptism," Brendon says clearly, looking intently at Ryan. Pete smirks a little, smug in his own understanding, "can occur anywhere there's enough water to submerge a body. It's one of the saved marking another for salvation, marking them as setting their life aside for the truth."

"That's right," Ryan agrees. "Close your eyes." Brendon does so, finally, with a blissful sigh as Ryan pushes him below the dirty bathwater, holding him there for what seems like an eternity until he lets Brendon surface again, kissing air into his lungs again.

Oh god, oh god. SO GOOD.

Pete choosing Brendon for Ryan, and Ryan choosing Brendon for himself and Brendon in a bathtub asking for Ryan and. Oh god. This was so good! And, like. Despite all of the fucked up creepiness for the, you know, CULT STUFF, it was kind of totally romantic and sweet or something, because at the end I was all Yay! They are meant to be together forever! Everything is how it should be ( ... )
