First of all - GREAT idea. It's fantastic, having our very own 'Fan Community History'.

Second, I admit I just sent a letter to the site's support.
My fan profile is lacking. More than fine with that.

Isnt fan history that project that popped up on fandom wank awhile back since it was outing folks and their real names which some people take great pains not to associate their fannishness with?

No idea. First time I heard of it.
Maybe the site is dead.... Wouldn't care much if it so.

My real name is not mentioned there. Not sure if it's out of respect for privacy or they could not find out.
(I certainly make a distinction between my normal and fan life. Not because I'm ashamed, but because my parents, relatives, future possible homophobic boss are on it and it would be unpleasant.
So 'outing out' is wrong to the bone.)

I did google myself a few years back. I didn't like what I saw. I'm not sure I'm curious enough to try again anytime soon.

I think I'm on that fan-wiki thing too and if I remember correctly, the only fic of mine listed there was the one on fanfiction.net. One of my worst. Erk.
