What did you think of it? I was generally approving, except for the fact that it was really choppy. It was especially noticeable in the beginning... hey, Harry's at Ron's already... wait, it's the day of the Quidditch cup? Yay Irish... but, um, do we get to see the match?...so now they're on the train? The other schools are coming already?... and so on. I know it was a long book, but hey, there are such things as transitions! Of course, I completely intend to see it again over Thanksgiving, so let me know when you're free!

Yeah, I thought it was awesome for the most part, yet choppy. In the words of my roomie Dana, "If they can make Titanic and Lord of the Rings 3 hours, why can't they do that for Harry Potter? It bugged me that they left out some things completely. Marauder's Map anyone? Oh look, I saw Barty Crouch roaming about the castle but he's not supposed to be here. Sorry, that plot point no longer exists. And the whole Rita Skeeter-being-an-Animagus thing went away. And the everyone-hates-Hermione-because-she's-"cheating"-on-Harry-with-Krum left too . . . I thought it was funny that they were doing schoolwork a grand total of twice--one exam and a DADA class. However, I suppose they couldn't put *everything* in ( ... )
