I have an interview for the GSLIS programme at Simmons College on Thursday. My mom and I are leaving early tomorrow morning by bus (12 hours-fun). I'm a bit nervous, of course, but hopefully things will turn out well. We're staying a week, so we'll be doing other things as well-my family used to live in Boston (my parents met there and both my ( Read more... )

YAAAAAY INTERVIEW! You're going to do amazingly well, I'm sure. I hope you and your mom have fun in Boston. Have you scouted out the local yarn shops? Haha. At the very least, you should have lots of knitting time on the bus ride (which sounds brutal.. ugh).

I wonder if The Physics of the Impossible is by the same people who wrote The Science of Harry Potter. Hmm. I might have to look into this.

And good choice with the Manos! I let you pet mine when I was home over Christmas, didn't I? It's SO nice. I just bought some more for no reason... I just couldn't help myself (bad Caitlin! You can't afford lapses like that!). I think it'll be perfect for you. If fact, if you have trouble finding that colorway online, I think my LYS might have it.

Thanks! ::hugs::

Yeah, I took advantage of Ravelry's LYS searching thingy. At least one of the LYSes I found has Manos Silk--if they don't have the colourway I'll let you know (or I can pick it up when I come visit!).

(::pokes:: Companion question?)

And I should probably go now. As we're leaving and all.
