Author's Notes I'm actually not that satisfied with this story since I procrastinated, but I think it works.

Lily stroked Harry's hair as he slept in her arms, looking out the window at the night sky, particularly at the bright full moon. James was out with his friends, and even though they tried to keep it a secret, she knew very well that her husband's best friend was a werewolf. She couldn't understand why they felt the need to continue hiding things from her; she usually found out from James later anyway. Besides, Lily was married to James, who was practically the leader of the group, and he knew how pissed his wife could get when she realized secrets were being kept from her.

Looking down at her son's sleeping form, Lily smiled at him, glad that he could keep her company even if he was asleep. He already looked so much like his father and that comforted her; she'd always have a piece of her husband even as he ran off with mates or worked at the Ministry. Holding Harry closer to her chest, Lily walked over to his crib and gently laid him onto the sheets, a gift from Peter after Harry was born. Little gifts from Remus, Sirius, and Peter were scattered around Harry's nursery since the three men wanted to spoil the Potter boy. It was almost as if they were Harry's pseudo-fathers whenever James wasn't around and Lily found it comforting.

After pulling the blanket - a gift from Frank and Alice Longbottom - over his body, Lily silently left the nursery and walked into the small study James used for official Order of the Phoenix business. Sitting in his leather chair, Lily looked around the room curiously. Even though it was completely free for her to use, James was usually the one in here and she only came in when she felt the need to read, which wasn't that often since Harry's birth. Now that she was sitting in here, free to read whatever she wished, Lily's mind instead wandered to her memories so much that she finally just succumbed to them.

Lily moaned with anticipation as she watched her husband kiss every spot on her body. They hadn't been able to enjoy a honeymoon thanks to the war, so they had to make due at home, when they weren't tied up with official Order business at least. The last time they had any energy to be intimate was nearly a month before, but it was stopped short since they both had been losing sleep.

Just as James was about to seal the deal and actually make sweet love to her, they heard voices coming from the kitchen area of their home in Godric's Hollow. Both of their eyes widened as they realized the unexpected visitors were ruining their quiet time. Lily frowned and hid her face in the crook of his neck, hoping that wishing the people away would do the trick. James groaned and buried his face in his wife's hair before slowly pushing himself off her and standing up. As he looked around for clothes, the door handle moved and opened to reveal a slightly drunk Sirius Black.

Lily screamed in horror, pulling up the covers over her exposed chest, wondering how in the hell her husband's best mate had entered their home. James turned his head around and glared at his friend, whose eyes were wide at the sight before him.

"Sirius! What in the hell are you doing in my house at this hour?!" Lily cried, looking back and forth between her still-naked husband and his drunken friend.

James was glad that he had his back to his friend as he continued trying to find clothes. "Padfoot! Who invited you?!" he asked.

"Don't you remember, Prongs?" Sirius asked with a lopsided grin. "You invited me for dinner two weeks ago."

"Then why the hell are you drunk?" Lily asked, glaring at him. She didn't care if he was he husband's best mate; there was no reason for him to just barge into her house!

"I went out for a bit with Peter and met an absolutely delicious brunette," Sirius said, leaning against the door frame.

Lily took a deep breath before looking over at her husband, who was still very naked and very red in the face, again. "James, put some clothes on, will you?"

Sirius scoffed. "Not as if I haven't seen it before, Prongs," he said with a wave of his hand.

"Sirius!" "Padfoot!" Lily and James cried at the same time, both of them appalled and turning the same shade of dark red.

"What?" Sirius asked with a shrug. After eight years of friendship, he had certainly seen every inch of his three friends' bodies and was not the least bit ashamed of the fact; he just didn't go around admitting the fact. "By the way, Red, you shouldn't hide your chest! You're quite the babe, if you ask me. If Prongs here hadn't snatched you up, I would've gone after you." Sirius winked at her playfully and chuckled, still quite tipsy from the five drinks he'd had with Peter and the brunette whose name he couldn't recall.

Lily shrieked and threw a pillow at Sirius's face, the redness in her cheeks not dying down at all. "James! Do something!" she yelled at her husband.

James finally pulled on decent clothes and turned around to glare at Sirius who was pouting. Rolling his eyes, James pushed his friend out of the doorway and looked back at his very angry wife. "You can change now, Lily. I'll deal with Padfoot."

Lily simply threw the other pillow on the bed at her husband, smiling slightly with triumph when his glasses fell off his face. As close as she had become with Sirius, he would pay for ruining her intimate evening with her husband. And why in the world did they agree to let him over for dinner?

Lily nervously looked around the kitchen of her home as she made dinner. Earlier that day she had found out she was pregnant courtesy of one of the Order healers, Emmeline Vance. Lily was actually thrilled at the thought of having a baby with James because she had been dreaming of a family since her sixth year. The only problem was the fact that they were in the middle of a war and James was incredibly busy with both his auror training and Order of the Phoenix work.

Taking a deep breath, she placed food on six plates since James's three best friends were having dinner with them. Seeing so much food suddenly had her stomach growl with either annoyance or anticipation and she couldn't figure out how this night would go.

"Boys! Come and get your plates!" Lily called, taking her own plate and glass of water with her into the dining room.

As she sat down at her usual spot, she watched as James and his friends entered the kitchen, still casually chatting with each other. They didn't have the worry of babies growing in their stomach and she envied how carefree they felt around each other. Looking down at her plate, she picked at her food, starting feel less hungry with each passing moment.

Half an hour later, the men were still talking, but more about their work with the Order. Lily had barely finished her dinner before Remus gently touched her arm in concern.

"Is there something wrong Lily?" he asked kindly.

Lily looked up at him but quickly shook her head. "Oh, no, I'm fine, Remus," she said. She looked down at her plate again, taking a sip of her water.

"Lily, you're usually just as engrossed in our conversations as your husband," Sirius stated. "What's wrong tonight, Red?"

"Oh, it's nothing," Lily dismissed, not sure if she wanted Sirius, Remus, and Peter present when she told James about her pregnancy.

"I doubt it's 'nothing', Lily," James said, looking at his wife as well. "Come on, you can tell us."

"No, I can't," she denied, unable to look at them.

"Please, Lily?" Peter chipped in, not wanting to make Lily feel embarrassed or something like that. "You can tell us."

Looking up, Lily noticed all four men nodding kindly at her, each hoping that there was nothing wrong with her. Fiddling with her wedding ring, she finally just blurted it out. "I'm pregnant," she said quickly.

There was a sudden silence as the four men tried to register what she had just told them. James eyes, which were already wide thanks to his glasses, became even wider as the words sunk in. Sirius, Remus, and Peter looked at each other, wondering if they were intruding on this moment.

James was the first to speak up. "Really, Lily?" he asked, his eyes now wide with hope and excitement instead of confusion.

Lily nodded, touching her husband's hand and smiling at him. Sirius clapped his hands together and cheered. She looked at him with a raised eyebrow and shrieked as he stood from his seat to lift her up in a hug. He twirled her around and she laughed, not surprised that he'd have the most enthusiasm during the situation.

"Oh, this is such wonderful news, Red!" Sirius cried as he slowly placed her back on her feet.

"Congratulations, Lily," Remus said, staying in his seat and smiling over in James's direction. "And to you, too, Prongs. You're going to be a father."

"Oh, you'll really be part of the group, now, Lily!" Peter said as his face lit up with pure excitement.

"We're going to spoil the little munchkin to bits," Sirius said with a proud nod.

Lily kissed Sirius's cheek before looking at her husband, who was simply grinning stupidly at her. She kissed his lips and squealed again as he pulled her onto his lap. She lightly hit his shoulder, but didn't move away.

"Are you happy about this, James?" she asked him softly. "It is your baby, you know."

James kissed all over her freckled face. "Of course I'm happy, Lily!" he exclaimed, laughing softly. "It may be a terrible time out there, but at least in this home we'll have a new incentive to win this war."

Sirius sat back down in his seat and raised his glass of butterbeer. "Are you sure this baby is really just Prongs's?" he asked with a suggestive wink.

"Sirius!" the other four said together before looking at each other and laughing.

Nuzzling her face into James's neck, Lily wondered how she ever could have been nervous about being pregnant. The baby would obviously have four fathers who would love him or her all the same. And Lily wouldn't have it any other way.

"If it's a girl, I've always liked the name Elizabeth," Peter said with a small smile, causing the others to laugh heartily and begin a conversation about the future addition to the Potter family.

That next morning, as Lily slowly came to and remembered that she had fallen asleep in the study, she sighed with happiness. Seeing the soft rays of morning peak through the windows, she slowly stood up and headed into the kitchen. Hearing the soft murmurs of James and his mates, she stood and watched them as they yawned and entered the house through the back entrance. Remus noticed Lily standing there and bit his lip guiltily, not expecting her to have been there.

"Mor-Morning, Lily," he said softly.

"Morning Remus," Lily replied. "You boys know you don't need to hide anything from me."

"What do you mean?" Peter asked, rubbing his eyes.

"I know why you leave every full moon," she said, reaching out to James and hugging him.

"I haven't the slightest idea what you're talking about," Sirius said, scratching the back of his neck.

"Remus is a werewolf; I know," Lily said simply, kissing James's cheek and looking at the other three. "I'd never tell, you know."

James looked at Remus, knowing that he had to be the one to decide what to do about this.

"I … I …" Remus began before sighing with defeat. Even though Lily Potter was a short woman, she was incredibly menacing with those brilliant emerald eyes of hers. "I guess we can't keep any secrets from you, Lily."

Sirius raised his eyebrows before grinning. "Hey, why don't we give Lily her very own nickname?" he asked.

"But what would we call her?" James asked, pushing her hair to the side and kissing her neck.

"What's the basis for the nickname?" Lily asked curiously, amazed that this was happening.

"What's your patronus?" Remus asked.

"A doe."

"Isn't there a muggle film about a baby deer?" Peter asked, looking at Lily. His mum was a muggle and she liked to take her son to theatres when he was young so he remembered that as one of the films she had taken him to see.

Lily nodded slowly before grinning. "How about Faline? That was the name of Bambi's girlfriend," she said, smiling at Peter.

"I like it," Remus and James said together.

"Me too," Peter said, smiling back at Lily.

Sirius shrugged. "Sure, that works," he said, looking at Lily and holding out his hand. "Welcome to the Marauders, Faline."

Lily laughed and shook his hand firmly before letting go. "Glad to be here, Padfoot," she said,
leaning over to kiss James's lips, glad that they could finally trust her with the secret.
