Ahh, the plot thickens!

I like the way you've introduced James here. And I really wasn't sure what to expect from your warning of a slight OOC James, but I understand where you're coming from now. It's not a bad sort of OOC, just a slightly different from canon OOC. In some ways I still see this James as our canon James, but if he had strict a pureblood upbringing. You can tell he cares about Lily and has good intentions, but his life is very different from his canon one. :)

Yeah, the characterisation of James pretty much set the basis for this fic! When I first took the prompt, I couldn't imagine the James we know taking home a prositute and being okay with her being a Muggle-born and having to live that life because of who she was, and so the backstory formed as to why he was like that and then this!
