This is a lovely piece and you have a very exquisite writing style. I loved how this focused on James' love for Quidditch and his pursuing it professionally, because maybe he would have had there not been a war. And I loved how he decided against his dream. I particularly loved this line He is a Quidditch player, a skilled one with a chance to be a hero in the hearts of thousands of little boys and girls. Great job!

I enjoyed this. The scene with Lily waking up in the dorms in hot! And I like the different images you give of the letters arriving by owl.

Sad but sweet. I think you portrayed James beautifully. I could definitely see deciding to play professional Quidditch if he didn't have the war to worry about.

Okay so this review is coming way late, (I totally forgot about the fest because of school) but thank you so much! I absolutely loved it! My favorite part had to be when they're waking up in the dorms, and James is picturing the wedding ring on Lily's fingers. I also loved how James was dedicated only to Puddlemere, it made the choice seem more personal, and harder. In my head I saw him wanting one team in particular, so I'm so glad you did that even though I never specified it in the prompt. Again, thank you so much, it was beautiful <3
