Thank you for the review.

I am writing more, albeit slowly.

I'm glad you enjoyed.

I just wanted to say that I love all of this 'verse and use it as my fix-it whenever Hogwarts segregation gets too much for me. I adopted Pansy as a favourite character a while back, partly in reaction to her informed extra-textual evil, but do find it hard to find fics in which she feels right. This, however, is one of them.

Please write more: a generation of Hogwarts students need rescuing from excessive inter-house idiocy.

Thanks

The fog invaded. Even in the bright Common Room the heavy mist weighed down students' robes and darkened the gold and scarlet walls. Through the windows only clouds and blots of vague colors were visible. The darker gray invoked the castle; the gray-green smear stood in for the forest. Students spoke in whispers without knowing why. Anything louder just felt wrong. In a corner, a man stared at an unset chess board. Everyone knew who he was, but no one approached him. The air was harder and darker around him and not even the traditional Gryffindor foolishness and bravery were daring enough to breach it. They'd told their Head of House, that would be enough. So they ignored him and waited for the fog to lift ( ... )

This is just a great story, I always love other takes on the aftermath, and this is just amazing. I especially like how you use many different characters and play on their strengths and weaknesses with perfection. No one feels flat and lifeless here, they all have a backstory that leaves me wanting more! :D A hard feat nowadays, I've read far too much fiction. :P Can't wait for the next update, I sure hope RL is treating you fairly.

Thank you! I'm very glad that you enjoyed the story. Yeah, I was always really bothered by JK's depiction of a world right back at normal in her epilogue. Not saying it is impossible (the world is very elastic), but it does take work. *shrugs* As for the characters, I'm very happy that they come across well. Pansy, Neville, Hannah, Lisa, Daphne, Adrian, and so forth are all characters I've loved for a while now.

Real life is insanely busy. I finished these stories in the spring right before my return to the states. So, the summer was a crazy whirlwind of packing, returning home, packing again, and going to grad school. Now busy is an understatement... However, I do have ideas for at least 2 more stories in this universe. It is just a matter of time now.

this is in no way pressure to write more, but I thought you might like to know that, every time I get too distressed by the stupidity of the world, I like to dip in and out of this. Of course, it helps that Pansy is probably my favourite fandom-appropriated character ever...

Thank you. I'm glad you enjoy it so much. I have notes somewhere on a third story. I'd have written it sooner, but grad school turned out to be too much.

And Pansy is utterly awesome. :)
