I'm getting sick of god damn fat belly dancers telling me that way back in period they would be more attrative because the are fat. Because their fucking families could afford to feed you. Or oh your moves won't look good because your skinny. You know what fuck you and the horse you rode in on

don't let anybody let you feel down about yourself~!!!! like you said, they're probably just insecure because even thou they ARE belly dancers (and supposedly supposed to be 'thick'), society looks down on bigger people. fuuuun. kindof a wierd little vicious circle. but please don't let them get to you.

Aww thanks porku it just really gets under my skin when people say that. I'm like don't you know your being hurtful? I understand that she is maybe trying to tell me something about the past but it's not like I'm just going to go "Oh if I stuff my face I'll look so much better." You know?

I can relate! I don't bellydance, but I see this at school too. Sometimes when I make a comment about something that, to me, makes no difference with how heavy you are (like how cute a clothing looks or something totally more random), I occassionally hear, "Well, you think that because your skinnier." It's weird how that happens, and it's always bigger people that bring it up. It also happens at lunch. My friends (who are not overweight) will pig out while I eat a sandwhich. Then everyone teases me (??) because they think I'm starving myself. What? :/

Anyway, my point is to ignore it. Feel good about yourself, because people like that obviously have huge security issues. They shouldn't say things like that, it only exposes their insecurity.

Thanks so much for the comment it really just bugs me tho because it happens all the time. I just wish they would just do something about their weight instead of just telling me I'm too skinny. But I like the encouraging words thanks so much.
