*sobs* Oh, Millicent, honey! So much heartbreaking punch wrapped up in this. Gorgeously constructed and beautifully realized. Millicent is sympathetic and trusting and just longing... and Susan. Well, she did her job perfectly didn't she? I probably would've fallen for her too. I just want to hug Millie and tell her that it's ok and it wasn't her fault and that she's lovely and, wow, I've totally got shiny eyes and that crying feeling in my throat. Amazing job with this-- very much enjoyed it.

I have this need to hurt Susan for what she did. Ugh. Poor Millicent.

This was wonderful. I don't see a sequel being made, but I would love to know about the fallout.

Oh dear. This is gorgeously achy. That last line in particular is a kick in the stomach. What a wonderful retelling
