I must admit that I really do enjoy a good, angsty, extended war scenario, particularly when it includes my favourite girls ♥ So sweet, heart-wrenching, world-weary and yet hopeful. Beautiful.

She also knew that most of her friends would think she was losing the plot if she told them that Luna was the only thing keeping her sane.

I can definitely see this as an alternative, it's very believeable. I really like Luna's bluntness, it's one of her best characteristics (and so are Ginny's insecurities).
