Okay, the mush is getting ridiculous and I want the plot.

Good luck with that one. To spoil slightly, the lack of plot (or lack of plot in places where plot should be, like the beginning half of the novel) is what really bothered me about Twilight, not the sparkly vampires or the stalker romance.

Yeah, I hadn’t thought of that. I wonder if his parents named him after the new King of England.

I hadn't thought of that either. If Meyer purposely named him for that reason, she just won back some brownie points from me.
