"In the name of all the elves in Christendom!" A timeline for Jane Eyre

At long last, this is the biggest summer project I've actually completed. A timeline for the events of Jane Eyre. It was an exhaustive process of skimming, reading, note-taking, and counting backwards. You all know that under normal circumstances I don't math, so be impressed.

Is Jane really only 10 years older than Adele? hmm, that seems kinda crazy. Heehee, captain Fitzjames. I wonder if he and Fitzwilliam know each other? They should start a club with other guys named Fitzgeorge, Fitzcharles, Fitzjohn and any other "fitz"ers they can find. That would be awesome.

Yeah, Jane's really only ten years older than Adele. She's eighteen when she gets to Thornfield and Mr. Rochester falls in love with her, so at least she's legal. And she's not quite twenty when she marries Mr. Rochester, who is... what? 38? 39?
The Fitzers Club would be the best club ever. In fact, I'm sure it already exists, and Fitzwilliam and Fitzjames met there. Also: Heee, Fitzgeorge and Fitzcharles!

Brilliant! I love it. After all it all really happened, or at least it did in my world!

Whoa! This is great! This may prove helpful while I'm reading Jane Eyre for my "Women in Literature" course. Again, I complement you on this excellent timeline.
