Hooray for regaining the will to do things! Would you mind giving me a list of what order I need to read the discworld series in? I found most of them at the library, so I can read them over the summer, but I'd still like to read them in your order. I've read Weird Sisters and Mort. Thanks!
Happy birthday late, Turtle! ^.^ What is "exposition"? My brain is not working right now (probably helped along by the fact that I shouldn't be online, but oh well, I can't help it) and I can't remember what that word means.
Exposition is basically backstory. Like, the stuff you need to know in order for this scene to make sense. It doesn't make for very good dialogue. "So, you know that before we met I was a government assassin." "And if people find out they will kill you." "Yes. Good, glad we got that all established. On with the scene."
Heeeeee! Did you read my review/synopsis of that book? It's spoilery, so if you haven't, don't if you're planning on reading the book. It's... well, it's the complete opposite of Mr. Darcy Takes a Wife (All Night Long, Etc.) but nonetheless not actually much better written. It's cute and enjoyable, though.
Erin, I found those Darcy and Elizabeth mystery novels I was telling you about, the author is Carrie Bebris. And you will never guess what they have made into a musical now... It sounds like a cross between Jekyll and Hyde and Jane Eyre... that's right. Lizzy Borden. The musical.
Hey, what's funny is that I've just started reading The Stone of Tears book. Thanks to Adam, I already own half the series. We'll have to talk about it when I'm done with it.
Personally, I wasn't bored by the DaVinci Code movie, but then, I didn't read the book either.

By the way, guess what book Mum picked up for me at a garage sale today? "Mr. Darcy's Daughters". I almost died. I definitely thought of you.
