If you had said that on Tuesday instead of that you didn't feel like it I probably would have assumed it was the same thing. By all means don't pick up the phone if you're busy or something, I'm not saying answer it all the time but lie to me if you don't feel like talking to me. It's better than "I couldn't be bothered to pick up the phone or call you back even though I saw it was you." (this is only for future reference) A depleted battery is perfectly reasonable. I'm sorry for jumping to conclusions.

Why would you ask that if you weren't thinking about not coming? I can't celebrate my birthday alone. (I already told everyone we don't buy our own cake) And it still stands you didn't even tell me you weren't coming to Gilmore Girls and you didn't give me a real reason (you told me to stop bothering you basically). It would be bad if you didn't come, very bad. It would be the end of Thanksgiving for us. Especially since we're having it on a Saturday so you can come! I was just frustrated at not being able to get you or Amira on the phone to talk about it. I was worried we weren't going to have Thanksgiving and it was going to go to the wayside like Gilmore Girls. Plus, you'd been unenthusiastic every time I called you last week and I didn't want your anger at Amira to rub off on me so I never get to talk to you and you feel like you can't come to our great traditions.
