I confess I lean toward the disbelieving side, since the theories surrounding reincarnation don't make logical sense to me. On the other hand, the beliefs I have won't make logical sense to many people either, so I take the attitude "I could just as well be wrong" when it comes to spiritual matters. I think a part of me wants reincarnation to be true, but a large part of me doesn't want it to be so. If it is true, the chance of being born into the 20% of the world that isn't starving, war-riddled, poor and so on would be very slim.
Hi, we don't know each other, but I'm curious; what theories have you heard that don't make sense? (Not being antagonistic, I just like these sorts of discussions :)
Hi there! I'm just on the skeptical side of the fence for several reasons. For example, how would it be numerically possible? The world is more densely populated than ever before, so if our souls simply recycled again and again, it would only make numerical sense if the population of the earth remained constant

While I can agree that most of the New Age concept is very loosely based on a misunderstanding of the Hindu belief, I'm skeptical that no other group in all of human existence ever had a similar idea, nor do I accept that they all necessarily viewed it the same way. So to universally apply the Hindu concept as a litmus test seems limiting to me

I think I accidentally voted for two. I clicked the 'possible' one and then realized that there was a 'hellz yeah' one... and both of them stayed clicked instead of the check mark switching when I clicked the second one. Oops. Haha.
I don't have any person experience, but I've heard enough stories to believe it.
