I am re-watching FMA from the beginning. I'm up to "The Untainted Child."

I love this show. It is my absolute favourite anime.

Meanwhile, I saw the movie Poseidon. It was appallingly gruesome. I don't think I liked it very much

I agree with you about FMA being an awesome anime. I have plans to watch it again when I finally buy the DVDs. I'm just waiting to see if they'll release them in a boxset.

Dogs are a lot of work! That's why I have cats. ^_~

Watching FMA on DVD was such a treat! No waiting for the episodes to air on tv or having to sit at the computer to watch them :) Just throw the DVD in and sit back and watch -- I'm not a very patient person, so I bought them all as they were released. And the DVDs came with spiffy little books in each filled with info and full-colour art.

My sister agrees with you on the cats. Even with four cats, they are still less work than one [little] dog.

I love FMA so much. As I watched it all over again, I was once more struck by how tragic it all is, and yet I just adore it anyway. (Although the movie is so freakin' sad. As the bookend to the series I suppose it would have to be, but I was so hoping it would be happier.)
