Give me a damned BREAK already.

The night before last I began feeling my heart skipping beats and fluttering oddly. I thought it was just my arrhythmia acting up, and I fell asleep. Woke up the next morning still feeling nervous and fluttery and with muscle twitches in my neck and head. My BP was fine, my blood sugar was fine... I figured it was a panic attack and took and extra ( Read more... )

((hugs)) Sorry to har that honey... I hope you can take it easy and sress less. Take a walk with someone (just in case you fall) do something you like just to kill down that stress. Really... anything you enjoy doing will help you.

*hug* thanks. I'm going to try, though I'm not sure how to destress. I might can get one of my nephews to help me walk the dog- I'm kind of afraid to walk her alone, as strong as she is, because it hurts my arm.

I'll try, there's just not much around here I enjoy doing xD;

I found that exercise helped me a lot through stressfull times. You almost must learn to accept things you cannot change and that past faillure can't hold you down. Life's a cycle and that things have to look up. I know it's hard to find a job but stressing won't help you find one. I know I am there. Sometimes it's hard to feel encouraged and you feel down, everyone has days like that. But you have to go to bed and think, yesterday was in the past and today is another day.

Yes walk the dog with someone, animals are good stress relief too. i really do hope you feel better soon, hon.

D: Yikes! I definitely hear you on the job hunt-related stress stuff, but that's just awful! I hope you start feeling better soon and find some way to de-stress.

Oh, god, that's horrible. I agree with the comments above; try and relax and exercise. For me it's always relaxing at 5 AM when I have little panic attacks to imagine a very safe place, a place where you always feel happy and calm, and just imagine it. Every aspect of it. The smell, the sight, the sounds, how it feels, what you'll be doing. For me it's the shore, but everyone's got their own personal havens.

I hope you feel better soon. <3

It's funny because I've been dealing with panic attacks for well on 23 years now, and I'm used to them-- I've just never had one that felt like my heart was getting all fucked up before. Now that I know what it is I can control it better.

Man, I hope so. I just keep getting more and more sore and stiff from the fall. x_x

Yeah, I know how to deal with ye olde average panic attack-- this one was just weird. Now I'm just sore as fuck from smacking the concrete so hard when I passed out.
