Devil's Traps: A Thought
This was brought to my attention by one of my friends. I painted a picture of a devil's trap, specifically the one that Sam draws on the trunk of the impala in Devil's Trap, and it is hanging up in my dorm room. As can be seen starting in the bottom left corner and going counter-clockwise in the painting below, "Mi", "Cha", and "El" are placed in the bend of all three corners of the trap. And what my friend pointed out to me was that when put all together, those three groupings of what I thought to be Latin terms spell out "Michael"...coincidence? Is that where the protection of the symbol comes from? Does anyone know something about something about that? Just thought it was an interesting observation...ya know, in an...observationally interesting way. Thoughts?
