I ate BBQ ribs with a punk rock singer and his fiancee for Thanksgiving dinner. See, Thanksgiving is an orphan Holiday for me usually because I'm always in SF for Halloween and Christmas, leaving Thanksgiving the awkward "middle child" holiday with no nearby relatives.

My immediate family lives in ess eff, but I am excused from Thanksgiving because my family can't cook. My mother reports for Thanksgiving dinner at my aunt's house was downright Puritan. I replied by taking her out for sushi.

I don't know what we are going to do for Christmas either. For last few year, J and I have hosted Christmas dinner. We are not in a position to host at this time.

The cheese and nitrous course was delicious. I also enjoyed giving an impromptu history of the Cracktory. Truly, I was meant to be a historian.
