I know. Sunday's class went especially well. I did many excellent meat hooks and Teeny showed me a new drop. On Tuesday, the plan is to do some bigger drops with more wraps. When you come back, we will have all kinds of new things to show you.

She is awfully lucky. I know that the survival rate for cats with hepatic lipidosis is around 60%, even with aggressive treatment. Rejecting the nasal tube reduced Ada's chances even further. I was mortified when she wound up at the hospital again. I felt that I had done everything that had been asked of me - I'd followed elaborate and complicated instructions in order to take care of my cat and suddenly the vets were telling me that my cat might not make it through the night.
We try to be good humans - you should see the chart we're keeping - but sometimes being a good human is not enough.

Your story about Bunki was fantastically helpful. It was a relief to read something from someone who had already been through this, including the vomiting and the medications and the runs.
