Just sticking my typing fingers in here because I saw a beautiful banner you made for someone else's story and wanted to send some appreciation your way. (It was for "Midnight" by SpankingHalo.) Entirely appreciating first the mood of it, and the fact that you selected absolutely gorgeous and *adult* photos of both of them and the background is just moody and beautiful. Fits the feel of the story (if she'd only just update it LOL).
Speaking of which, am so hoping this story won't fall by the wayside. Another one of yours that I'd been appreciating ("Fallen Angel") seems to have gone on hiatus, but I'm particularly hoping your muse for "Broken" gets energized. Such powerfully written stuff ...

Hey, thank you :D I really enjoy making banners, and that banner for Midnight was the first one I made with Draco in it, so I thought I'd find a nice pic (and I don't really like using pics of them looking all young when the story is about them as adults...)
As for my own stories, well, neither of them has been forgotten, I stopped updating when HermioneBigBang came my way, writing 50k takes a lot of time, and then the muse just up and left me, but I'm hoping I'll find time to update them really soon. I have three more fests to write for, but I really do love both the stories and will continue them. Tbh, they're rather difficult to write at the same time anyway, because they have the same characters, but the feeling to them and the stile is so different, I'm worried I'll add angst to Fallen Angel when I shouldn't, or cheer up and ruin Broken, but they will both be updated, promise :D

The thing with banner pictures that makes me craziest ... a romance with a banner with pictures of essentially children. Even more so if it's a pair of, say, HG with one of the older generation (LM, SB, etc.) That turns me off to the story, even, because the banner feels like there's child abuse going on, you know?
And especially now that all of the actors have grown and have done these wonderful photo shoots, that there are great shots to choose from, there's no excuse for it. And using other faces/photos that aren't necessarily connected to the movie franchise is another good option. But those kid pictures ... /shivers
