Hmmm. Kitchen smells yummy from my soup making today. The stock I made last weekend has been upgraded to broth as there was a lot of chicken/turkey meat in it and it's gels up instead of stays liquid. Yep, or so a Celiac's site told me. They sell it at Uwajimaya and it tastes a bit like what I remember Pilsner Urquel tasted like.

Oh how I love split pea soup with ham. It does horrible things to my body though so I swore it off for good about a year ago.

Really horrible things. :-(

I miss it.

That sounds terrible. Is it the peas or the ham? I'm temped to try a bean and ham soup as well.
