I just got the Best News evar!

HRC down in Albuquerque called and offered me the term position on the Medicine Bow-Routt National Forests!  They also administer the Thunder Basin National Grassland in eastern WY!

I AM SOOO EXCITED!!!

I was secretly hoping that I got this Forest because of where its at (I will be based at Laramie).  I never lived in ( Read more... )

off topic - I watched a national geographic canada show last night on the Coast Wolves in Northwestern BC in the rainforest. Do you know anything about them? The piece was AMAZING. You should try and get a hold of a copy of it you would really like it I feel. Some amazing footage ( ... )

I hadn't heard about them (amazingly), but yeah, I'll have to check out that link. I think I have to order or register to get it though.

Thanks for the link! Wolves are so awesome; the SO bought me the latest National Geographic that has wolves on the cover. It covers the recent de-listing of the wolves from the Endangered Species List and how the recent state sponsored hunts in MT and ID are affecting the packs. It's a good story and shows just how much good the wolves have done to restore the ecosystem back in Yellowstone National Park. :-)
