My battered copy of Aesop's Fables from childhood. It's a gorgeous illustrated version, given to me by my Grandma Phyllis. She worked at Rand McNally, and gave me the best books!

I LOVE (!!!) that Ina May book. I also recommend My Mother Wears Combat Boots, if you haven't started it already.

Also, Charles de Lint. Good? Recommended? What's he like?

Charles de Lint is fabulous. I love fantasy, but hate how so many authors dilute the genre with schlock. de Lint is not one of those hacks! Highly recommended.
