Sorry for your loss. When I was a kid my cat died in my arms on the way to the vet from something similar.
You never forget your cats. It sounds like he was a cool cat.

So Sorry--(((HUGS))) to you. He sounds like a wonderful cat
I am sad that he crashed so fast he had to be put down by a crappy vet, instead of having a visiting vet come, so he could die at home. Glad you were brave enough to take him, when He needed it.
He will live in memory

lovely! lillitu_shahar September 15 2007, 13:28:37 UTC
great, i am looking forward to really meeting you (we "sort of" met at Obie's Appleseed intro meeting last year, and the internet just doesn't count, LOL).

yes, this Sunday is hairy for me too. i have founded a parrot non-profit that helps people in the short term so that they can keep their parrots in the long term.

this Sunday, i am meeting a woman who is going to have lung surgery and her Amazon, Noodle. i am bringing them down to meet Noodle's temporary foster parents and back.

i will email for your number and we can set a time, hopefully soon.

I'm sorry for your loss as well.

I had a cat (Silverlock) which went through kidney failure after just a few years. Never knew I'd be able to give a cat shots or subcutaneous fluids, but I learned and he cooperated. Picturing his face as he went to sleep can still bring a tear to my eye, but as he was using what energy he had to fight receiving food...

Malcolm looks & sounds like a wonderful and well-loved kitty.
